‘God made me’ is a series for your midweek toddler group that helps young children and their carers see that God made them in an amazing and wonderful way (Psalm 119:14).
In this series we look at Bible stories relating to different parts of the body to see that God made each part uniquely and that each part has a specific role to play in the body as a whole.
There are 6 sessions in the series:
- God made my hands (Matthew 12:9-14)
- God made my mouth (Mark 6:30-44)
- God made my feet (Matthew 14:22-33)
- God made my eyes (Mark 10:46-52)
- God made my ears (Mark 7:31-37)
- I am amazingly and wonderfully made (Psalm 119:14)
Each session is split into 4 sections:
- Story Time: A chance to open God’s word simply and apply the teaching to the toddlers’ lives in a creative and engaging way.
- Activity: A suggested hands-on activity to help toddlers explore the theme of the session in a fun and game based way.
- Songs: A time to sing and dance, including a suggested series song to play each week and suggested nursery rhymes relating to the theme of the session.
- Craft: A time to get messy and creative! We have provided instructions and templates where necessary.
