Faith in Kids provides resources, training and encouragement for Christian children’s ministry. We want to support and resource children’s ministry in the local Church.

Teaching

Faith in Kids has grown out of a growing demand for trusted, Bible-based, Christ-centred resources. For many years we have been sharing resources to an increasing number of children’s workers; we decided that it was time to do more! A growing team of children’s workers and volunteers are working to develop both the website and its resources.

Our prayer is that these resources, training and encouragement enable more people to present Christ in a fun, truthful and relevant way.

We present Christ to children because he told his followers to let the children come to him. We want to do what he said!

He said to them, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the Kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it”

Mark 10: 14-15

Jesus Christ is the King of God’s Kingdom. He deserves our children’s worship. He is the one who can welcome children into His Kingdom; right now and forever more. We want to provide resources and training that will enable children to meet with Jesus Christ, in the pages of the Bible. Through these resources and training, we hope that families and Churches will better be able to nurture, disciple and encourage their children. We want to present Christ to children so that they can enter the Kingdom.

Heroes

We want to present Christ in a fun way

because he came that we may have life and have it to the full. Wouldn’t it be awful if children were bored as we showed them Jesus Christ? If any child is allowed to meet Jesus Christ as he really is, then they will be thrilled, engaged and gripped by Him. We want our resources and training to enable leaders to see children’s hearts captured by the one who gave everything for them.

We want to present Christ truthfully

because he said he was the Truth! So we’re not trying to do anything innovative or surprising, we just want to present Jesus Christ as he really is; the Way, the Truth and the Life. We write our resources and plan our training, praying that children will come to know the Truth. .

We want to present Christ in a relevant way

because Jesus Christ is the Lord of all. The Good News of Jesus Christ is the power of God for all who believe; children and adults alike. Jesus Christ is relevant to every child. We have to ensure that our materials allow children to engage with Jesus Christ, their Lord and Saviour.

He said to them, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the Kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it”

Mark 10: 14-15

Previously Ed was an Engineer and is still happiest building and fixing things.
